Looking at installing a narrow front end on a 18 AXYS, the two that I’m looking at are the skins 36” and the K Mod 37”. Trying to find out if the k mod is adjustable narrower or not and which of these people like better and why.

I run the kmod 37" on my 11 pro. It is fixed width but you can adjust ski width at the spindle (you can adjust this on stock setup too). I have run it for 3 or 4 yrs now i think and very happy with it.

I'm thinking about doing the offset also, so I'm curious how well that is working.

Offset spindles handle weird to me. They do roll over really really easily though because the spindle is essentially weighting the outside of the ski.

I'm cool with the 36" zbroz arms with 2019 walker evans on them. I haven't ridden any other kit though.

Does anybody make a 36" or 37" kit that you can run stock shocks with on a 2016-2018 axys?

I am doing alt impact. Love it. What ever kit make sure it is the 2019 geometry. I did a 36 on pro chassis and didn't love it. Love this geometry on the Axys chassis.

There was a post on here little while back from Kmod for his new website and he gave $100 off code on there. That pushed me over the edge and I bought them to try. We have alt impact 36” on my wife’s 16 Axys and no complaints there, I just figured I’d try the kmod because I can’t remember ever hearing from someone with negative feedback about them. Both guys are great to deal with.

Skinz rarely has a-arms in stock. KMod can usually ship same day.

KMod are also the best a-arms I've ever used and Keven is awesome to deal with.

I call BS on that. Lots of testing and even better than short arms as full suspension is still usable.

Call whatever you want, the turning arc changes and rather than pivot the ski from the middle, it swings the whole ski around. I said weird, not inoperable.

You are correct however how many guys notice that when they offset their skis with the spacers on the ski bolts? The loss in suspension when shortening shocks and arms can be more noticeable in my opinion. There are pro's and cons to either way you narrow, only I feel there are more pros and less cons with the offset spindles. Sorry did not mean to come across like an ass.
