CRAIG COLORADO
Ctec 2 oil being thinner helps those cold starts. But yes they need to fix that or Im tempted to buy ES lol.

Cat better come out with a good powerful motor. Little birdy says Poo has an 860 up their sleeve
never thought id own a ES sled but this year I own one, and I must say im not sure id ever go back.... I had to relocate the battery and switched to a earth x.... but so nice to just turn the key after a wicked stuck or on some of those awkward spots my sled likes to get into. As for poo having a 860.....Now that would be a sled! :)

First and foremost, stop forcing sleds down the dealers throats.
There's dealers with '12 & '13 sleds in crates.
Most of us do want a profitable thriving local dealer, and overstocking is not conducive to profit margins.

Now to us customers, this is a two way street. Support your local dealers. Stop driving 200 miles to save $500! That does not make sense!

Finally to the dealers, quit trying to sell outside of an area that you can service!
You fuchers are what is ruining sled values and hurting the small town dealers!

I regularly see eastern MN dealers marketing their product here in SD and they know full well someone else is going to have to try to keep that customer serviced. They view it as a quick buck with zero after the sale responsibility!

Don't support these fuchtards!

Cat sleds

My sleds have been good to me.

2016 M8 Ltd Boost-it turbo. No problems. I still own it.
2015 M8 sno pro. Stock with BMP clutching. No problems. I still own it.
2012 M1100T LTD EVO super chute turbo. Belt eater after adding 130 hp. EVO stage 3 TCL delete fixed that. I still own it. I'd sell it if someone was interested.
2009 M8 sno pro. OVS turbo. changed reeds twice.
2008 M1000 sno pro. Burnt a piston on 40 HP shot of NOS
2007 M1000 sno pro. Stock No problems. I still own it.
2005 sno cross sled with a 700 efi. No problems. I still own it. I'd sell this sled if someone was interested.
2004 900 mountain cat. Boondocker NOS. no problems.
2002 800 mountain cat. Stock. No problems

I really like the 3 proclimb sleds I have.
It's time for some updates from cat though.
Newer motor.
Less weight.
Better body work.

If the dealer show is in Minny. then I think your going to see the new motor. Guess I'll be eating my words or that means the new Wildcat motor is a Yammie! We will soon know, should be exciting!

I'm wondering if they will sneak peek the new Wildcat too?

I hope it's a 800 and not a 850 or 860. if it's bigger than a 800. I hope they go all the way to a 900

More info

Over 200 new parts, not trail zr based, all mountain chassis. Some new to industry ideas. New engine. Early build demos and early builds for customers to buy. Before Dealer meeting at end of February. This is 100 % reliable ( could not give details)but I'm still not convinced on complete new chassis. Will it be or enough changes that they can call it a new chassis. Sounds like we may now more sooner than expected.

are any of you unhappy with the cats you own now?

Don't think theres probably many who are but big thing IMO is that cat has left a lot on the table the last few years, the sleds will go anywhere the others will go but they could have made them alot better pretty easily. The heavy PITA plastics should be long gone, the drive system is bulky and heavy, and the track works well but could use a diet. Pretty easy 40lbs could be shaved of with out sacrificing reliability. Motor works awesome but I have heard that its 20lbs heavier than the Poo motor? Give us a lighter stronger motor aswell, PLEASE!

The mountain cat in our group has proven to be no slouch against the newer gen chassis from doo and poo, theres definitely a chance to really get ahead in 2018, hopefully they deliver.

I for one am looking forward to 2018,
It's my year to up grade from my 2013 i had my share of troubles with my 13 but I believe if I would have a rmk or summit for that matter I'd be in the same boat due to how I drive. I hope 2018 they fix their annoying issues that aren't huge problems but they cause loosing riding time common cat you have the attention of the market don't let us down again. We could only take so many lunch box let downs
