……..
Did that to mine too cause I did find bearing parts in the oil...

Attached is the list of stuff I had on my 14' YZ

Changed it out last week.
It was still in one piece but wobbly.

Noticed an improvement of shift feel.

I'm going to see how it turns the 3" track with 6 tooth 3.0 pitch drivers.
Should gear it down slightly from the stock 7 tooth 2.86.

……..
I did a 2.25" to 3 Inch silicone 45* bend and a big wire cage that actually came through the top of the intake cover, (about a foot of filter area) with a K&N snowcharger cover. This thing worked amazing and would seriously run perfect completely submerged in snow and cannot plug.

13.5:1 Wiesco piston
stage 2 hot cams
HOT mapping via GYTR tuner.
thermobob
fmf slip on
skid plate with minor shrouding.

This is what I was running on my 14 and it absolutely ripped. I could have done a little more shrouding as I would have falling coolant temps on cold smoke days and you definitely feel the bike de-tune when it gets cold. Otherwise I loved it, pulled insanely hard right to the rev limiter and I put 200+ hours on it without a hiccup.

Just so nobody else buys the wrong intake elbow like i did.
The 2014 Yz450f throttle body is 2" diameter.

I just ordered a 2"-3" 45* elbow to hook up my intake.

PR2 ecu and a CR intake is all you need ! I would always keep the stock intake boot. Doesnt matter what you put on top imo. PR2 solves a lot of issues. Spot on all day with the above !

You don't run a thermostat or shrouds/ engine covers?

I would... You can get away without a cover... But you engine will like it on the deep days... Running at 90 degrees makes me nervous

Thermobob installed already.

Working on my lower half plastic shrouds and planning to do removable welding blanket material upper shrouds ( around the exhaust)

3/16" plastic over aluminum skid plate.
