Any of you deisel guys getting better than 8mpg pulling a 20+ enclosed trailer clipping along about 70-75? Drove a 03 F-250 6.0L and a 02 Duramax and both got 7-8mpg from southern Mn to Wy. Just thought that was pretty
sh!tty!
Running an 07 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab 4x4 with smarty jr and dpf / egr delete - consistently gets 17 mpg pulling a 24' enclosed steel trailer w/4 sleds in it @ 70mph. If you are only managing 8-12 mpg with your diesel, something is terribly wrong...

Nice trucks guys!
I can't believe how close the poll is right now. Ford/Chev/Dodge are pretty much all split evenly.

Here's my 10' Ram 2500. 4.5" Revtek lift, 35" Nitto Trail Graps, Amp steps, H&S tuned and deleted, turbo back exhaust to a custom 5" dual rear exhaust with 1500 bumper. Its now debadged and removed the black vinyl between the windows. Also put on a black X Deck. Lots of other goodies and more to come.
I'm constantly upgrading and buying the latest and greatest but I love this truck and will drive it into the ground. She's staying around.

My ecoboost pulled a 6x14 enclosed with about 1000lbs in it from Colorado to Maine and back. Averaged 12.5mpg round trip. I get 20 average with 70/30 hwy/city driving unloaded on premium fuel. It's a long wheelbase, an maybe the sway control is a factor, I had to keep reminding myself I had a trailer back there. The 0-60 is 6.1 seconds. I don't think the original tires are gonna last over 20k miles, if that.

2012 screw ecoboost. More than enough truck for two trips a year with a 4 place enclosed. Which is more than I can say for my previous 07 tundra with a 5.7 that was adequate. Although I had 250k trouble free on it so if it holds up like that did ill be happy. I am so happy with this truck after 30000 kilometers. Can't get over how it tows.
