So I can buy a new carry over 16 axys 163 2.6 and add the base Boondocker kit OR for almost exactly same price (a customer who backed out on) a 2017 snow check 174 X 3.

Really wondering which to do, I had a 14 Rmk turbo loved it but had a few issues / lots of maintenance, then I went a couple years on a snowbike but going back to sled this year...

Took a pretty good depreciation lick when I sold the 14 turbo.

Ride mostly revy.

2014 wasnt that long ago..... Not that much has changed with the turbos since then. Your still gonna have issues and the maint stuff. And, just like last time, when you decide to sell it your gonna take a beating.
I would go with the 17. I dont think you will be disappointed. The 163 x 3 worked very well last year, I can only guess the 174 will be better in the deep stuff. If you go with the 17, you can swap out the pipe for an SLP or one of the modded stock pipes. They worked very well last year with noticeable hp gains. Eric

I have a 16 with sidekick and haven't any issues at all. I could not ride a stock sled after going with boost. As far as losing money... Well ur in the wrong sport if that's what ur worry about :)

Or alternatively smarter money would be one of the many 2015 500-800 mile T3 174's listed for 60% of what I might shell out for new.

I've ran a 174 boosted pro the last 5 years and honestly what kind of riding do you do? I'm sick of the 174. Next sled will be a 163 axys. Best of all worlds. But like I say it all depends on what your style is.

I ran the sidekick all last year on my axys. It was the most fun sled I've ever had. Id say go with the turbo axys especially if you are riding the deep pow of revy

Personally would go with the 16 163" but in situations like this it's best to just buy both and then you won't have any regrets :face-icon-small-ton
