Any tips , mounting an M10 on an 2000 T-cat ?

suspension is 141, and track is 153. Have an offset axl and 8 inch rear wheels. Turning the offset axl the wrong way...

Is 9" from the drive axl to the front arm too long ?

The attack angle is pretty slack, could it bee to slack ?

Thanks

141 to 153 would mean moving the skid back up to 6". The handling will be terrible, the suspension will not transfer correctly. I have owned 3 M10s in different sleds, one was a 136 slid back to a 144, tried different springs, revalved shocks never did transfer very well. It would be wise to either buy or make a set of mounting plates. Tunnel damage can occur without the correct plates.

You need the mounting plates, the stock mounting holes are wrong. The pressure that skid puts on the tunnel will tear it up. Call Curt at fastrax 253 848 0908, he knows a ton about M10 suspensions.

7,5

Curt says 7,5" back from the drive axl, if i mount it 9" it would work with the 8" wheels and the offset axl revers`d....

But maybe you are right about the transfer when im pulling it soo far back....

The mounting plates is easy to make.... no worrys....

Where are you located lars9357? I have a 141x2" challenger track you could have for $20 if your local and didn't want to go to a 153". I have an older metric m10 141" extended to a 156" mounted in my mod and i ended up 7.75" back from the center of my driveshaft. Center to center of FTA to RTA 26".

done

well, we are very happy with the M10 mounting, working great. Transfer is good, and sucks bumps like a Høøcker :)

Cant understand why sombody is giving up the M10, could it bee lack of power ? this cat has 204Hp, and would lift the skis where ever the driver wants.... Its all about, where you place your body....
