Lighting coil

The lighting coil is on the stator but it is all one unit, you can't just replace lighting coil. My suggestion is to check the voltage regulator first. It is an aluminum box bolted to the right footwell. If it is bad you will lose all lights, handwarmers and the tach, abut the sled will still run. There should be a plug under your dash that the oil lever sender plugs into. It will have an extra connection with a yellow and a brown wire. You can get 12v AC from the yellow and the brown is ground.
