A buddy of mine has a 03 600 Ski doo rev he was riding it and lost power.Got it home and did a compression test. The PTO side had 125psi and the MAG side had 100psi. So he put rings in. When he was done both had 135psi. When he fired it up it started to pop back though the carb. When he did a compression test again the MAG side was down to 25psi. So what could it be?(seal)

the motor has 3200 miles on it

Check for broken reeds first, then the head gaskets, then the rings.

Reeds won't cause a drop in compression. Tear it down and find out. Probably broke a ring. Look at the piston and cyl.
