what could go wrong same chassis since 16 with better cooling since 18 and the new wiring harness in 19. I doubt there much new to say about the axys and 800ho. The 800 guys are all out there sledding while the 850 guys are on Internet nervously browsing.

End of build cycle is always a good buy in any vehicle.. Snowmobile , PWC, automobile. It’s been tested, sold, verified, then refined in production. Unless you need the latest and greatest for racing the 800 will work fine for most people. Plus the new sleds are now depreciating $3000 per year.. yikes! Cheaper to rent from Burandt’s for 10 rides..

If the 850 is really a snow check only model again for 2020, how many more years will the 800 still be offered? And will it be BNG untill it fades away?

800 and SLP for me.

Lets see an 800 is how many $thousand less?? Add an SLP pipe and can drop 20 lbs. off the already lighter 800 and produce 170 HP. No brainer to me. Its also cool being the underdog.

I was told that also. Snowcheck 850 for another year. To get the backlog of 800 sleds sold and raise the value of Pros. I am not really up on what Poo does, but Doo as of last year was still selling XM chassis sleds with carbed engines as low cost mountain sleds. Sports. I would guess that dealers have to buld/sell these sleds to get old parts off the shelves? Look at the 19 Polaris 550 "kid" sleds. Mostly 201-2015 Pro parts as far as chassis.

If any local dealers have a left over 19 800 in a 155 next fall that will be my next sled I think. Swap over my suspension & maybe add a turbo. The 850 does not interest me honestly.

Had the same thought of swapping my turbo, shocks(shortening them for the narrow front), etc off my 16 onto a fresh 19 800.

Best deal out there for sure, 2 guys in our group have new 850's meh, no biggie power wise, and figure you can do a 800+sidekick for less than a 850 and zero motor issues, pretty much rock solid sled.

A friend just bought a new '18 hold over 800 for 9 something, I think 4 year warranty and some extras. Nice sled, pretty good deal.

M&m lawn leisure is selling 18 holdovers for 9500, 9800 e start. My wife just got me one for x mas. That’s only $250 more than I paid for my ‘13 five years ago. I think they run awesome. Of course it’s not a 19 with the updated front end or elec.

If I get a new sled next year it will be a 800. Have seat time on the 850. Bottom end is horrible. Wouldn't even consider one unless they get a re map that works. New front end is great. 850 would be a good climber or anything you can keep in midrange and up. The 800s throttle response is far superior to the 850. Felt left out early season not getting a new 850. I'm so happy I didn't Snow check.

I'm currently trying to decide if I should pull the trigger on a 2018 800 pro with the 163 2.6. The price is quite good. The 19 with the 850 sounds nice, but too much money for me.

I wouldn't think the 2018 will depreciate all that much in the first couple of years. Right now, new, they can be had for about $9600 in my area.

I must be over thinking it. I think the blown 850 thread has me running scared.

Well, It finally happened, my Snow Checked 800 arrived on Friday, January 4TH. Not a very good showing for Polaris!! No Snow Checked sled should arrive at the dealership after the first week of November IMO.

That’s a $5000 difference between 18’ and 19’. So that means if you ride 10 times it’s $500 a ride just to cover the depreciation. That’s sick dude!
