I have an odd question....

Hey guys,
I was just wondering what you do to cover your intake on your MCX kit when you are transporting your sled. I have a yamaha cover and the intake on my MCX kit is too large to stretch the cover over it... What do you guys to to protect your intake during transport?
Reason I ask, is because right now I don't have an inclosed and my sled will be exposed when I travel.

I know dumb question, but I figured I would see what everybody else does.. Thanks..

has k&n sock on it, so nothing can get in it.

How about a zip lock and an elastic band....if your worried about it spinning.

I bought a Skinz Protective gear snowmobile cover. Stretches over the intake and had zero problems. Keeps the sled clean and dry as well.

alpine sells transport covers on there website, but not sure on the size..

Put a wool sock on mine wrks good. $6.99 and comes with a spare.

We were worried about the turbo spinning on the Sno Cats when we transported them on the hwy but, with the stack facing backwards we were advised by "experts" that there were no worries! And, if we were worried about it to throw a welding glove over the stack during transport, sameo could work for the sled...........Sherm
