Hey guys, just going to delete the flimsy rider select. I want to weld some steel to support my brackets I want to put on there, and just wondering, is it o.k to just weld on the frame?? What about the computer and stuff? Theres no battery to disconnect. Any thoughts? I'm using a mig welder. Thanks.

I agree... just buy the kit from Polzinhunter...top notch stuff.

If you MUST weld...

Pull the fuel tank out... and remove the ECU from the sled...

Protect everthing with a good fire blanket so you arent burning thru anything with flying slag.

If you have the skills to try and weld or fabricate..Just buy a plate of aluminum and make it yourself. Simple to do and the steering loop is actually a Poo part for a newer model. You can buy it for around 10 bux, plus you will need the grommets. I think total is less than 20 bux.
