Want to put a four or a six inch riser on my 01 MXZ 800. I have the trottle extention and not worried about the brake line, just not sure if the wiring will be long enough to stretch that far. Any body done this?

I have a 01 summit and I was able to do the 4" riser without any problems but 6" would have required a lot of extra work and $$
i put an 8" riser on my 02 800 zx and i just put a RSI bakeline on and a powermadd throttle ext. and cut and added in about 6" to 8" of wire for all of my gauges.
now she still works fine

i gotta 01' summit and i put an 8" riser. should be fine just uncoil the wiring underneath the console. mine has no throttle or brake extensions, but the throttle cable is a little snug.

^^Yup, got an 8" on my 01' Summit x and I'm in the same boat, a little snug on the throttle but no issues so-far.
