prefered Yeti lenght?

what is the preferred length, I here the 129 best all around however whats preferred for powder and tree riding, don't care much about the trail habits, I sort of leaning toward the 137 and YZ 450 FX?

I had a 129 and now have a 137 TS. I didn't notice that much downside difference. I notice the added climbing ability though.
