Have an MCX Nytro with stock fuel pump and filter. How do you change it?

If you have the stock tank, pull your seat and the plastic trim that runs from the fuel filler hole to under the seat.
Disconnect the fuel line and electrical fitting.
REmove the allen bolts on the round metal plate.
Pull the fuel pump and filter out.
Thats it.
Before starting, get yourself a new o-ring.

yeah i got that far now what 
was told a Fram G3 filter would work but can't really figure out how.

the only place youre getting the in tank filter is from yamaha the g3 fram is if you have the external fuel pump that is with the 270hp kit....and then you have two filters, one in the tank and one out.

There isn't a part number for just the fuel filter on the stock fuel pump setup. You must buy a whole new fuel pump which comes with a new filter.
