new headlight deletes from BDX awesome!!!

just got the first set from mike the other day and got them installed, they are sweet

mount into the windshield/plenum holes all from the inside!!! you can't see it in the pic but under the prefilter material, which they send extra so you can mod them how you want, they have bdxtreme cut out in them. could not be more happy with how they fit, bdx stuff is always nice and clean. absolutley love the way they look...

A lot of people are using headlamps like the leaddog. If you ride at night with one once, you will understand. It is nice having the light where you are looking. Sled looks good.

Sorry, haven't gotten them on the web yet, BUT

Vented comes with xtra vents = $59.95

Non-Vented = 39.95

They come with fastners to install...

I'm more interested in the venting, tahn the weight savings trying to let out as much heat as possible. Is it ok to run an 09 m1000 with out the hadlights or do you need a resistor?

Fastlane has a resitor kit to use the extra juice up that the headlight would normally use.

No resistor needed on the 09's I do not believe on the 08's or 07's either. I will double check.

riding tommorow and will get some close up in and out for ya guys. just picked up a pair of really small 55 watt lights from walmart for $16. rode yesterday with no lights no problem, pretty sure the 07 and up are ok with no light.

Thats good to hear the resistors are pretty pricey. They almost made me reconsider.

Looks like a good kit.
Same thing can be done with hardware cloth and pet screen for 14 bucks and more surface area for venting to boot.

just got mine installed, i put the screen on the back side, hopefully it works, i wish i could got my windshield tabs to go in back of the hood like sandmans, it didnt' fit good that way
