ECM code

My 05 XP Renegade SDI is throwing an ECM code and cutting out after about 15 minutes. Is this the limp home mode?
How do I get the fault code without going to a dealer?

Is it an 05 or and XP , it can't be both...

If it's an SDI , lets assume it's an 05 REV 600 or 1000 and the only way to get the codes is to take it to the dealer... Some codes can be figured out using the owners manuel to figure the beep sequence bt this is pretty much over heat and DET sensor codes.

BRP still has the manuels in PDF for you at the skidoo website.

Thanks, I have the shop manual and there are a couple pages of possible faults based on the beeper and light combination I have.
Looks like I am off to the dealer.
