This kit from Fox Shocks for $280 is for both front shocks and seems like a no brainer for our heavy machines. It only works on Float and Float 2 front shocks. Has anyone completed this? How difficult and any special tools required?

thanks

I have them on the front and rear. I like them. The upgrade is a good bang for the buck. It's actually easy to do. You can make the tool to hold the shaft as pictured in the directions.

yeah, I basically took 2 pieces of aluminum flat stock and and drilled a 1/2" hole in the center of the two pieces clamped together in a bench top vice. when you see the pic in the directions you'll understand. otherwise if your shocks need rebuilding the kit comes with all new seals too. so places by me will rebuild them and install the kit for $50 a shock
