Anyone have a set up for Carl's 900 big bore. I just bought a 2013 pro 900 big bore, slp pipe.its set up for togwotee. I'm at 0 - 1000 elevation here put 70 gram weights in it and it falls on it's face around 7200 rpm. Feels like it runs really rich

I just replaced the exhaust temp sensor on mine. Mine was doing the same thing last spring your describing. The Polaris dealer found the code for the sensor. the engine was a complete rebuild from Carl's last winter. I only sent them the engine, last ride of the year it wouldn't go over 6800 rpms. New sensor, Runs crisp again!

Thanks I'll check that out. It didn't show up on the check engine light? I did call Carl's, they were supposed to check with another guy and call me back. I'll call tomorrow.

Talked with someone at Carl's, couldn't give me much, except check everything. Need to check what head is on it, might need to run some race fuel. They have not really tested at sea level.

I've never adjusted the power commander, but I always ride at 7-10K feet. In central Nebraska 2100 feet, mine runs very rich also. Might just be in the setup. When the exhaust temp sensor went out, I was getting a red light engine code but I didn't hold the brake and check the select button when the light was on to see the code. Couldn't make the engine light come on when I got home.

So, I changed to the low elevation heads, no help. Put on new fuel filter, seems a little better, but still bogging at random around 7200 rpm. Could I need to change helix? Running a 62-44-46, with gold/black spring
