New used primary clutch for my 03 vertical escape 800

I have an 03 800 vertical escape the Sheve has a grove wore in it and it sticks what do I need to know about figuring out what machines used the same clutch?
Would an 05 900 primary fit on my 800 ?
At this point a new clutch is worth more than the sled.

Go to the Carl's cycle web page. Find the Snowmobile/Polaris parts pages. Look up the Polaris part number of yours. And then look up different models and different years to see if they have the same part number.
