If the sled is a 2008 600rr, with the original engine, a 600HO, then no. If it's a race sled, 2008 and up, with the 600 long stroke engine, you can use the 800 cylinders, after machining the crank case to accept the bigger cylinder skirts.
Guys used to install an 800 VES "big block" engine in mod sleds, but it requires a bunch of cutting on the bulkhead to clear the water pump, and an engine plate made specifically for this combo. Also, the steering support and column/shaft needs to be cut and bent around the cylinders, as the stock factory straight pieces won't accept the motor. This engine also requires a different primary clutch, and the factory airbox won't work.
Much better option is to get the 800 CFI engine and bolt it in without hacking the sled to pieces.
