I bought a used trailer with aluminum wheels from the Boise area (salt, lot's of salt) and the coating on the aluminum modular wheels is starting to come off and make the wheels look like crap. Is there a secret to removing the rest of it with out damaging the wheel (read: quick and cheap)? I figure if I can get the coating off then I can polish them and keep them looking good or at least better than they do now.
