List what sled, turbo , and max rpm's.

This might help some in tuning and other comparisons.


M8 bb twisted turbo running 8250rpm's -is this about right?

07 dragon 700, 7psi boost, stock pipe. Clutched for 82-8300 supposed to run at 8250 stock so thats what i kept it at with the turbo.

Has anyone had there turbo on an engine dyno to see if they carry hp out further or if the peak is close to the stock rpm? Also is there a difference in a stock pipe vs a turbo specific pipe in the peak rpm?

I'm guessing that every sled/turbo setup will make power at different peak rpms and the only real way to know what to clutch your sled at would be to get it on a dyno..........

06 TM7 was 8600rpms at WOT!!! 11-14 psi

04 mountain cat stock spins at 7300-7400.

CPI turbo at 11-12# boost to spin at 8000-8100RPM

The only real way to know where peak hp is at is by putting it on a track dyno with the clutching and all working for load--then you can see where it falls off and start the setup from there. Or a manufactuer/seller of the product that has already done this testing.
