I have a 2000 800 twin, 136" track, that had a catastrophic blow up. If I can do it, I'd like to avoid the 800 motor all together and put a 700 in it. All help and input would be appreciated.

Kuna Idaho to Elk City Idaho..
it will bolt right in just rejet carbs and put the 700 clutch weights and spring in..i did this 2 years ago and i am running the 800 cdi which i think makes the 700 run better...700 trouble free miles..

i just picked up a 03 perc system i am going to install this summer..

good luck you will like the 700 better in that era

Do you need a motor. I'm putting a 700 non ves motor together right now. New cylinders, pistons, rings seals, water pump belt. It had 2000 some miles on it before rebuild.
