the skid is mounted a tad lower, and back.

Better attack angle?? According to cats website that have a different heat treating on their clutches for consistency, and different bearings in the secondary clutch. As well as deeper fins on the secondary to keep them cooler. But youll probably still blow belts with your luck ak lol

lol come on now ak quit being so selfish, isn't it time the wife gets a new sled for once!! Besides, if you rebuild your broken one you can build it exactly how you want it :face-icon-small-hap Lets hope they got it right this year and take care of the guys who put their retirement funds into belt funds..

Nothing really earth shattering that I can see as far as the mountain sleds go. It looks like you might as well buy a left over '13. Pretty much like Ski-Doo for 2014.

I really don't know much but if they are keeping the same engines as last year plus maybe a 600? = 6000 then I'm guessing they are going with the 1000 series naming scheme just bcz 4 strokes don't fit well with the usual 2 stroke name theme? What I'm trying to say is their 1100 non turbo is very misleading to anyone not heavily involved with motor sports since F1100 sounds way more powerful than F600 but really pretty close. So I'm thinking since the current 800 had ~160hp and 1100T had ~177 then the 800=8000 and 1100T = 9000? It really would make more marketing sense but just my guess someone tell me more please ha

For us OLDER folks they are going back to the way theywere called in the late 70's and on until they folded. The 81 6000 El'tigre was the fastest that year. The kawi engines prior to 76 were fantastic engines,NEVER a problem they were happy singing till 8500 rpm My first brand new sled was the 74 El'tigre 440 free air, I paid a whole $1550.00 brand new and with all the gauges............02:face-icon-small-coo

Between Doo and Cat '14 is the year of BNG's. We'll see if Poo goes back to a real drive shaft and updates the belt drive or if they're using fancy stickers as well.
