Well I sold my 2009 summit x with the 860 big bore and now im looking at coming over to the 4 stroke side of sledding. But im kind of new to the Yamaha's so any info would be great. I rode my friends 09 nytro, stock sled, but I want more. I like the impulse stand alone turbo kits but im torn, I see a ton of '08's for sale, whats the difference between them and the '09's ...thanks for any info.....

zip different. Dont rule out MCX for boost. Check my thread in the swapmeet.

Changes

The biggest differance between the 09's up was the front end geometry and the introduction of the 144" track on the XTX's. They changed the caster, camber by a few degrees and spindles. They tried to allieviate some of the darting because the 08"s apparently was the type of machine where you had to drive all the time "no relaxing " or lollygaggin on the trails unless you enjoy eating bark.. that's it other than colors and graphics.

ya thats what I heard about the 08's. Looks like im going for a 2009 or 2010 with an mcx or impulse 270hp..... Thanks guys.
