What mods to make to a '97 670X running boards?

What mods to make to a '98 670X running boards?

I had my running boards ported by Qwrex

I highly recommend this guy. He did great work, and it was a fair price! Also, the running boards seem much stiffer than they were!

However, now I am thinking about cutting out the foot ramps at the front of the boards? Anyone else do this? Any suggestions, I am really just looking to stand further forward on the sled.

that actually sounds like a good idea to cut the foot ramps, i would say mod them for more of the foot sturips like on the newer sleds, look at the one Bret Ras built pics all over his facebook, but that sounds like a good idea

I dunno about cutting out the ramps, when you start looking in there behind the bellypan they give quite a bit of support to the footboards, trailing arm post, and a few other misc. items in there. I was gonna do mine but thought better of it. But investigate it yourself and see what you think!

Those look great! you can buy those stamps and do them yourself, was kinda lookin into it...
