Limiter strap position

I keep reading "one hole up." Unfortunately I got this sled used and don't know what the stock setting was. Looking for a little less wheelie when climbing. Already have revalved shocks and z-motion. What is the stock hole on the limiter straps?

Thanks in advance

Looks to me your in hole #3 and that’s stock on a 165/154 I do believe. The zip tie on your limiter strap leads me to believe it’s never been changed, cut that off if you do change it.

My 175 came from the factory in hole # 2 stock.

That's the 3rd hole. You only want to move the loose end of the strap, the bolt can stay in the other 2 layers and the zip ties help keep those holes aligned, no need to remove.

My 17 165” has been on hole 2 for almost two seasons. I just switched it back to stock (hole 3) because of significant front end lift when climbing steep trenched climbs.

I haven’t been back to the specific climb yet to see if reduced front end lift would have made it easier.

I’m 6’3” 250lbs and when the front end lifts high in steep tech / tight climbing it can be challenging to hold a straight line.

That being said with the first ride back on the stock setting I feel I would like a hole setting between 2 & 3.

I originally switched to hole 2 for deep snow performance and for the most part I’ve been happy. Hopefully we get deep snow again this year and I can feel out the stock setting.

Ordering a 175” though.
