RPM Composites is top notch armor, well with the $. Got one on my G4 and it works well.
Have had one on every Skidoo I’ve owned since 08 or 09. Quit breaking front heat exchangers off.
However if it’s not worth that much to you, that is totally up to you.

Just get the skidoo full body skid plate it's like $110 skid plate/bash guard all in 1 and doesn't break the piggy bank.

If you want true protection only one choice = RPM Composites. If you want just looks go with any of the others.

Another vote for RPM! I like to think of it as an exoskeleton. It would come off easy as well if you trade each season, put on next sled.

I described it the exact same way earlier today. Expensive and heavier than a plastic piece but great piece of mind.

It does look great. I'm more interested in the two side pieces. Its to bad they don't just sell them separate.
Cost is $650
Came down on a hidden punji stick tree (3" diameter) last weekend. I felt the impact and then my track getting hold of it. I found a place to stop and look...nothing on the ole RPM Composites exoskeleton. Great impact distribution and smooth enough to glide over the stuff you don't see.
Do you have a pert number or website link?
www.rpmcomposites.com don't list the G4 under the "skidoo" dropdown menu for some reason, but if you click on the "to order" tab and go to skidoo under that, you will find "rev g4" there. Or, follow the direct link that adam12 posted, but i just wanted to point out i noticed the same thing on the website (that gen4 are not listed under the main skidoo dropdown menu). I ordered mine a couple weeks ago. Raffi said it's now made and should ship next week. Yay!
