Naive ?: Taillight and Ignition

Hi guys,

Bought my first used snowmobile recently (panther 370r 2006) and I have a very naive question: my rear taillight appears to be a single bulb. It works when I press the breaks but there is no “soft” running light. Is that normal or potentially some sort of wiring issue?

Also, the owner disconnected the left ignition wire to the key ignition and the sled starts without a key. When I plug the cable in and have the key in there is no spark. Does that mean there is something wrong with the ignition? The kill switch works fine (have to use to turn off machine).

Thanks!

Probably a two spring light bulb and one of those springs is broke..Yeah he might have bypassed the ignition if u get no spark. Just run it
