DTS 129, oil, change it or just keep it full?

B
There is a cap, where oil goes for the Camso DTS 129. It is for the top-sprocket and to keep whatever is inside, bathed in oil.

Do any of you drain the oil and then put new oil in?, or do you just make sure it is just topped up?

The inspection/lubrication recommendation is every 100 hours. If there are no signs of it having leaked out then I would assume its all still in there. The volume is 6-8 ccs. Recommended oil is 80W90 gear oil which is the same stuff as in your car which goes a lot farther than 100 hours. If you are worried about it I would make sure there is oil in there otherwise I'd probably just leave it if you aren't over 100 hours and there are no obvious leaks. I've not personally heard of any failures with that part of the kit.
