Clutching changes for 2.6” PC upgrade
Hey Guys,
I recently upgraded my M7 A20 162x2.25 to a new PC 2.6”. I am very impressed with how the new track performs but I still need to make some clutching changes to get my RPM back up to ~8k. I am running an RKT torsional secondary, yellow primary spring with 65g weights, RKT billet head and SLP can. I had it dialed in perfectly before the track swap, but lost 200-300 rpm on powder climbs which is noticeable. My question is what would be the proper way to regain the Rpm? Just drop 1-2 grams on primary weights? I have been considering regearing as well but don’t expect that alone to get my top end back where it needs to be. Does secondary spring tension come into play here?
I’m riding from 9-12k ft in mostly dry CO powder.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. To hang with the guys I’m riding with I need this old girl to be really dialed in.
