850 pricing

Appreciate everyone posting what you are being quoted......to make this a usable thread can you please post your sled choice, with the options......without sales tax. Adding the sales tax in with different rates per state only lessens the use of the information. Seems that $1,200 off retail is the best pricing so far.

$1000 under Msrp, no set up fees, etc,
I’m really curious how folks are getting $1200 under msrp.
I’ve seen the dealer cost sheet. Dealer is giving it away at that point, not including hold back

Mid season you should expect to see 850’s trickle into dealerships (stock colors and bare tunnels)

Or even “hero” sleds which allows dealers to “snowcheck” sleds and sell them like a normal in season sled.

I was told there will be no mid season 850s, its snowcheck or nothing if you want one for next season... Also dealers now get fined $3500 if they order extra SC sleds to sell on the showroom floor like they have done in the past. This is Polaris's way of making Snowcheck special to its buyers again, it will help these sleds hold their value as well which is nice.

It would be nice if people would post the MSRP of their build or how much off MSRP they are getting. That would make comparing a lot easier.

Drives the price of new sleds up while most are complaining about what a new one costs these days. Great plan, a bit elitist, but great nonetheless.

Mostly it will cause a drop in sales when there are no special models for sale on the floor. I also LIKE the rebates that make the sleds more affordable, I suspect most people do. OBVIOUSLY the manufacturer has room in the machines since it is commonplace season after season.

I think they should encourage dealers to order a few specials. They are MUCH more likely to attract buyers on a sales floor than in your garage, not for sale...

Snowcheck should just go away and let dealers order the colors/configurations that sell for them.

If the manufacturers try to keep retail pricing on all the sleds they make they are either going to put a lot of dealers out of business or are going to have to make A LOT less sleds. There just aren't enough people willing to pay retail in this shrinking sport to buy all the sleds produced.

Most riders I know get a new sled every three to four years if there something special you want snow check it if not take what the dealer has. I realy think its a win for everyone if they lower production. We have to face the latest and greatest cost money. Polaris and ski doo have done a great job at offering a lower price point for thrifty buyers on certain models. If you are patient there is great buys on mod sleds that sell for pennies on the dollar.

My dealer is qualifying who gets to purchase a 850. They want people who will be using it hard. ( When you hardly get any snow until February that truly is hard on un snowmobilers. I asked him if the price included snow for November and December. Ha Ha )

$13,900 Axys RMK-Pro Patriot 162 with 2.6 inch track
plus tax at 6.85% plus licence $78.50 plus Doc $95 = $15,032 OTD

I've been to two separate dealerships inquiring about pricing on snow checks, I asked if they could do any better on the price if I snow check and they both said the price is the price
