Mountainhorse is right. Grease your skid and grease it often. Just did a 3 day weekend ride with the girls. Spring conditions, soft snow, and very wet.
I had greased all 3 skids on Thursday. When unloading today, I noticed no grease at all. Greased again and was pushing water out like crazy.
