We have received another 20 inches in the past 3 days here in Western Colorado. I would estimate a 4 foot base on north facing slopes in our area around Thunder Mountain Lodge. We are also very close to completing our 24 hour "snow stake" so you guys can watch it snow for yourself. As soon as I have the link to that I'll post it, help me share it because it is the only one of its kind on The Grand Mesa. Thanks

We had a blast in the Mesa this weekend! Even though we got some snow each evening, there still was not enough to ride off trail safely. Everyone I spoke with that did had some kind of damage to their sled.

But with a couple more feet of snow, that area is amazing and will be FUN FUN FUN!

I totally agree that riding off trail in most spots up here right now is risky. I've got a few fun spots to hit right now, but we are well on our way to a sweet base. Also, later this week the 300 lakes in the area will be frozen securely and make easy powder riding a great option for most riders. This place is great for lots of different groups because the beginners can ride powder on the lakes, people can ride hundreds of miles of groomed trails, and the experts can boondock for days...Thanks

Thinking of coming out there in a few weeks! Seems you guys have the most snow so far close to Utah. I will keep checking the snow reports. Thanks!
