Just bought this sled and want to know what to look at unique to this sled ... for repairs, wear and tear ... special maintenance.

First off are there any fix it kits needed?

Is there a aftermarket running board to install?

Where can I get a few knobs that are missing?

Both my boys had one when they were young. These are the best sled that a small kid can learn the ride on. We put thousands of miles on them between my kids and friends kids. Only gas and oil required. Never had any problems.
You can order parts from skidoo.

Here is my son the day he learned how to carve. He was 8 or 9 at the time. He was in hog heaven! I was following him he is out front.

Best sled for a kid. Did 2. Don't even have to go with a 136". Find a used 121 1.5" track and they will go anywhere.

Pitch the molded skis. Summits are a bolt one.

2.52 pitch 15 inch wide.

Any mods to fit 1.5" discussion says will fit no problem.

You can buy the manual from skidoo. If you go with different skis make sure that are lightweight. These sled are light stock and even with the 121 track and molded skis they will go thought fairly deep snow. You can put a 1.5 track on it will fit if I remember right. I remember I raised the handle bars as my son got older as well.

Resources are extremely limited here in SOCAL

Thank you for the information.

I found a deal on a new 15x120 ripsaw track designed for 2008 and newer sleds.

Will this track work? Correct pitch? is the 1 inch less still gonna fit?

you need a 15x121x2.52 pitch, can fit up to a 1.5 lug in there...I have added a 15x136x1.25 to one of mine and I have one stock, they both work well. If I was gonna go with a 121 I'd find a 1.5 inch

Appreciate the input. My mail source to find a track is EBAY where a 1.5 lug track go used for over $300

Any other source ?

It seems most 121 tracks available are back east coast.

Had a 550 with 2" 144 and one with an HO 800 in it with a 2" 159". These are still a very nimble sled nowadays Comparing to the mpnewer stuff. Yes ditch the Skis . I put a taller lightweight seat on both . Still have a spare seat leftover if anyone in my area interested.
