New updated BDX spindles are 4mm thicker on the front and back areas above the tie rod connection. Also thicker in the area in front of where the lower a-arm attaches. Here are some comparison pics.

This is what needed to be done to make doo XM spindles work with the BDX setup. The upper inside needed a good amount of clearance grind work to clear the shocks and a-arm so it would turn to lock position fully. Also the wedges on the bottom front and back to work with the ski rubber. The holes that receive the arms also need a machine taper job done to them.

Does that mean no more of these. Not including the 2 sets that got sent back to bdx. How many did you go through?

I went through 10 last season in 1000 miles. All bent the same way on the top end creating mad camber. Hopefully these new ones hold up, or I'll be putting on the xm spindles even though they don't work as well IMO

So are they going to step up and replace the old ones?

What kind of hits are you guys taking to bend these? From the front, side, twisting? Just curious so I can avoid it. I had a couple hits last year, one that stopped the sled and launched me over the bars mid-sidehill, and I haven't bent one yet.
