I have a very clean 02 700 144" with about 1700 miles on it. Now this thing runs really good but was kinda thinking I should do a top end kit on it before the snow sets in. What would you guys reccommend for pistons? I've used wisco in the past but just looking for maybe a little upgrade to. Now this sled is used for the wife to ride in the mts and for me to run around home which is 2400'. Not looking to big bore but a good drop in kit. The sled is 100% stock besides riser and boss seat. Rebuild

We used the Wiseco kit in our 700 and it runs great. Maybe a Boyesen reed kit would get some more power, however as it turns out that machine makes 122 HP on regular gas and does not wimper. I would be at a loss to say what to do short of major surgery! Gear it down maybe?

That's exactly what I thought why mess with a good thing. So I think I will just put a top end in it and call it good. Anyone make a better top end or just use wisco again?

I'm going to run it 1 more year just cause I only put 300-400 miles on this one per year.

My 03 700 started having issues going into reverse, so I did a top end.

Power did not change, but RER worked better.

That was at 5000 miles.

1700? Clean it, gas, oil, go. 700s are awesome.

700

Ours went 5500 mountain miles before a rebuild. Fuel conditioner would be the only thing I would use at 1700.
