The MVM kit is super nice. Used it on my build last year. Weighed all the pieces compare to the other two kits on the market. Friends had bought those kits for their sleds so we weighed all the pieces. The MVM kit lost the most weight.

What does mvm run for a belt? And I'll just put my TKI on the 18's. I won't be running a oil tank.

There's more than just the oil tank being different the jackshaft splines are different on the gear side and by the looks of that top pully they will have some angry people cause looks like the old style

When you say this do you mean they went back to the stupid retainer collar for the jackshaft bearing, used on the 14 and older sleds? Good god I hope that's not what you are referring to.

No it looks like the smaller shaft like the 16 and 17s not the bigger splines shaft on the 18s

Okay so what you are saying is the picture of the kit from mvm has the wrong size upper pulley because the 18 has a larger diameter Jack shaft is that correct.

Correct but not 100 % sure I know when I bought my gears off a vender on here he was unaware of this issue but selling the gears for the 16 and 17 to fit the 18 so I had to end up buying said company's pro light shaft that is not lighter than the new 18 shaft by any means to install new gearing

Someone needs to contact MVM and ask about the upper gear for the 2018 sleds. Find out if they know what is going on?

I just talked to Dean at MVM.

The kit shown above is for the 2018 Early Release Models which still utilize the smaller jackshaft. Correction** They have both sizes for either jackshaft!
