Fuel filter options

Put one on my Pro, fit and finish as good as factory for half the price?

My sled somebody (a previous owner) installed rubber fuel line on the fuel rail plus a fuel line connector at the tank with a barb on it. So basically I swap out my fuel filters for cheap, easy to do and the Fram g2s I use is about $6 Canadian. That's hard to beat for a price!. I believe the fuel line push connector is about ~20 from Dorman and I'm not sure what was done on the fuel rail whether it's a simple strip the plastic off and there's a barb you can use or not.
