Is it worth it if the 13 has been updated.

This is on a Pro rmk, and the 14 is a 155 and the 13 is a 163.

I know it probably makes more financial sense to go the 14, but looking for other opinions. Either sled will probably get a turbo, so down the road maybe resale won't matter if there is a year difference.

Opinions?????

thanks

14 no question. Belt drive improvements alone are worth that.

That or buy the 13 and put aftermarket drive on it.

Guess it depends if you want the 163 with the turbo.

Besides belt drive. Better a-arm glue process in 14. Supposedly different pistons, ECU calibration in 14. Driveshaft collar from factory (13 should have one now, too). BNG.

Plus the 163" is a few hundred more in value and is a year newer which will carry that value.

yes different machining on the gears and different materials supposed to improve belt life. So far the updates appear to be much better.

New belt, same sprockets, different top bolt. There was rumors of machined pulleys but it never happened.

I had a 13 and now a 14. No problems with either one but my 14 just rocks! Pulls 8250 in deep deep snow and has been sooo crisp and snappy.
Not sure if mapping and or piston rings or what is making the difference but my 14 is the real deal. Have ridden
my old 13 ( sold it to my buddy) and my 14 same day and
Same conditions and the 14 feels much stronger.
Sure don't get that the Pro is underpowered story, this is the best sled I have ever owned, and I have owned many, many new sleds in the 35 plus years that I have been riding!
My two cents!!!

Blew two drive belts with the '13. At $199 each, that is already the difference. I'd do the '14 just because it will be a more recent sled when you sell it.
