Something I found while looking at various OEM Axys sled parts listings. The trail sleds come with this air duct and all of the Axys right side panels have the stand offs and the opening on the panel. It doesn't cost a lot or weigh much so I figured it couldn't hurt anything but sure could help keep the QD belt and brake rotor a little cooler. I plan on blocking off the area on the vent where the duct crosses it. The part number is 5450863, I looked at the part listing for a 800 Pro S

The sled I bought from Anthony Oberti A Carl’s built 2013 pro turbo had a special duct attached to a factory vent in the hood and would “blow down” towards the upper Pully of the quick drive. I’m sure Anthony whipped that sled more than once. And my 330lbs *** put some serious stress on the system as well. But I never had a problem with the QD ever.

Yep, it's the same part number. I think most of the trail sleds come with this brake duct.

What I am talking about is only on the XCR. Rivets on the out side of the side panel to scoop more air for the duct you installed.

Part #5452823 SCOOP, BRAKE DUCT

Here’s the part for a pro chassis. #1 in the pic. $27.03

This is what Carl’s cycle had installed on my turbo pro.

It’s a part that also came on the trail sleds like the rush.

Now that specifically looked for it, but using it in the mountains, it may act like a snow scoop instead of an air scoop.
