I am looking for a new or used gas cap in the denver area for a 04 mountain cat 900. Going riding this weekend and remember last time i went out it was spewing gas everywhere when the tank was full. :face-icon-small-sho Thanks

nothing eh?:face-icon-small-sho. well does anyone have a suggestion on how to plug it? I checked the vent line going into the tank so I dont know why i even need a vented gas cap. can i just epoxy the vent openings shut for now?

It Is common on those sleds to get a hair line crack around the lower threads of filler neck and spew gas. went through the same thing on my sled and with a new cap it still spewed gas.Pull up on filler neck and look for a crack. If it's cracked post back,I have easily repaired 2.

yep u were right, i would have put a new cap on and had the same issue. I used a solder gun and plastic welded it back together.:face-icon-small-coo thanks again!
