Anyone geared a 07 rmk 600?

Was thinking about it, but can't find anyone else who has done it..

I running the stock 19:41 with a 76 pitch chain..

Would I need to change the chain if I gear it down?

i would be hesitant to run an 18t top gear, the tighter the diameter you wrap a chain around the more resistance and the more strain on the chain.....they break more often. pretty much everyone i know runs 19/42 and is very pleased.

Agreed!
19/42 is the way to go.

Was wondering if there is any difference between doing the top chain or doing the bottom chain, or what the difference is in its performance. Flatlander here looking for a bit more pull, dont wanna lose too much top end, if I go with the 18 how much top end speed would I lose? If it takes away some top RPM like the dealer told me, can this be fixed by clutching, and how?
