S swade-o Free Member Jan 15, 2010 221 10 18 Dec 22, 2013 #2 Sounds like a bad temp sensor. Did you use the one off the 2004 or the original 2002 one? Either way it is at least 10 year old and they do go bad. If possible replace it with a new one so you know it is not the temp sensor causing the problem.

B BB454 Free Member Nov 26, 2007 1,150 119 63 Salt Lake City Dec 28, 2013 #3 perc The 04 Perc CDI had a DET sensor on the head. Did you install that? If not the CDI may be setting the light because it has not DET sensor input.
