Has anyone rode at around 1800 feet elevation with 2012 PC162? Cat calls for 75's for 0 - 3000 seems light. I am thinking going with 77 grams, stock spring and stock secondary.

I ran my 2011 X-Fire in WY. this year and followed what it said under hood and ran spot on. Was pulling 7900 rpms all day. From the factory it was set for 0-3,000. For over 9,000+ it said to run 58gram weights and a 36 degree helix. I would follow what it says under the hood and will perform spot on.

weights low alt

2012 pc 162 2000ft ,won't pull it .this is what i've tried so far new-0miles 75g 42-40 helix low alt kit ,pull 8100 flats, 7800-7900 in climb lame 50 miles 70g 36 helix pulled 8150-8200 flats, 8000-8100in climb, better but felt like a weak sewing machine. 100miles went back to 42-40 helix and 73g good bottom end lacked top again. 150-200 miles running 73g 42-40 helix, 2010 orange spring in secondary pulls up to 8150 then drops back to 8000,getting closer , haven't done so much clutching since 800 mc,not real pleased with it. snow has been good so haven't messed with it lately . so to sum it up 200 miles so far on 2012 and 800 miles on 2010 turbo .

I only have 70 miles on my 12 PC 800 153 and ride in 2500 elev im using MDS weights about 85g. I called Steve what the best setup would be and thats what he recommended. I also use the Cat red spring. These are awesome weights, pulling 8150 at top end. They make a huge difference in every area, take off, midrange, and have excellent backshift. I did run factory stuff before i changed this so i can tell there is a world of difference.
