So, just eliminating the 900 kit, or eliminating the pipe & can as well (and controller), or also getting rid of oil injection? I was just asking Jeff about ways to order this as a "kit" but my saying "stock motor" brought up more questions that I was expecting.

I like the kit idea. I pretty much have everything here or on order to make my own black LE 162 "pro lite". But with an slp pipe kit and skis. Plan on doing a thread while assembling.

Good call, seems like the bump stuff is the only complaint folks have on that sled.

That was my #1 fear/dislike(bmp). That and I don't know how the warranty situation will work when people can screw with the fueling through the power commander. They could say any engine failure was the riders fault for messing with the tuning.

--Just a question?

--How bad could BMP screw up a stock cylinder big bore?

-bore it out
-plate it
-port it
-install cylinders, pistons, head
-add pipe and silencer
-tune controller to spec

--Should run fine

If it was that easy, everyone would have a 200hp 900 kit.

I'd like to see it run at altitude in real conditions before buying into claims.

I would think a good 925 would be closer to 180 hp.

901 kit

Ray has been running one for three years now and runs great. Better than any 925 I have seen.

You that are doubtful That is my job this year is to get you on it so lets hook up so you can see it run.

Hope to sell out this weekend in Edmonton.

So.... How does the warrenty work on the BDX sled?

Through Cat or BDX or MMsports? Is it just a parts warrenty?

Can you get 4 more years of Cat Care added to it?

My sled was the First BB 900 kit BMP did on the 800H.O motors and Rays was the second. Have have had no complaints/problems with my big bore, only thing I have done to the engines in 2 years and 5 trips out west which = about 2200 miles on the odometer in replace the pistons after my first year because BMP switched from Wiseco's to Wossner piston. Only BC BMP had those Wossner make those pistons just for there 900BB specs!
