I have a 99 Powder Special 600 EFI with an SLP chip which until last night has been a great runner, but I tried to start it last night to lend it out to some friends needing a lift for a hut trip, and it wouldn't start.
No spark.
This sled always starts on the 3rd pull. It is getting fuel. LOTS of fuel. It ran great a month ago when I loaded it onto the trailer.
There is no kill switch on this machine, it was removed by the PO, I have had it for 5 or 6 seasons and had no problems like this. The ignition switch was set to the run position.
The lights were lighting up when we were pulling the starter so there is some power being generated by the stator.
Any thoughts? I seem to have to keep this fleet of sleds around and running for my family to ride when they come out once or twice a year. PIA...
