you can contact Moto-Tassinari (V-Force) at 603-298-6646 and ask for an update kit for your sled. I just got mine in the mail. It will consist of a gasket/spacer/gasket/then the V-force/then another gasket. Without the spacer...the valve partially obstructs the fuel pump impulse line port which can disrupt fuel flow at wide open throttle. Good luck!

Just called them, and yes it is a spacer. If the original kit you bough did not come with the spacer, free of charge they will send you the update which consists of 2 spacers and 4 gaskets. Called in and got mine sent out this afternoon... :beer;

I will keep that in mind, though the stock reeds seem to work just fine.

If they want to send me free spacers I'm all for it. Mine ran fine last year, but the update will give me reason to inspect the carb boots, gaskets, etc. on them for the upcoming season...

I have a 600 RMK with a 660 kit without the reeds. Do the reeds really help this motor. Tri-City here in Utah told me not to waise my money.

Carbon Tech

Carls is recommending carbon tech. They say the are cheaper work just as good and are stronger. Have any of you ran these and are they any better than stock.

If you are having cut out problems at high rpm's ,or highmarking and it starts to cut out in the middle of a hill climb, there is a solution to that problem!

I have a 06 Switchback with the 600 HO and V- force reeds. Does it apply to this model also? The kit had no spacers and I have just installed after the past snow season and have done run it>
