What is the min squish I should be able to run on my 809, Jaws pipes, 2000+ elev & 100 octane fuel. I was at .070 with my stock head, I bought a head that has been cut off Ebay & am wondering if I need to add base gasket thickness when I put it on. THanks, Josh

I was running .065" squish on mine but it also depends on the head design and fuel you want to use. I ran straight AvGas but probably didn't have to.

If it's just a shaved stock head to increase compression, I would highly recommend running at least thicker base gaskets, if not double stacked. A fair amount of port timing will help you to a point depending on your elevation.

think mine is 66 thou? measured with solder. 1000 altitude, 91 pump gas throw some 104 + in if the pump is only 87
