Apparently the "short" in the handgrips is causing sleds to misfire and act like they dropped a cylinder. Take a pair of wire cutters and cut the wires from the grips, under the handlebar pad (cover). Until you can have the dealer install the "update".

If your grips still work...be glad.

Or another alternative===Turn off your hotgrips and thumbwarmer and it will do the same thing.

You can also just remove the bar pad, and unplug them.

my grips failed at about 50 miles and i havent dont anything... i currently have 350 miles on my sled w/o any problems.
